Arnhem in One day, Pieter
Just a week ago I did the first attempt of the 'Arnhem in One Day' tour, which was a great succes! Now another friend wanted to go as well and ofcourse I said yes! Pieter was quite informed about the bigger picture, so today I tried to enrich his knowledge with a lot of side stories, personal details and experience the landscape to create a context. Riding on bikes just connects you to the ground so much more. Distances feel different, the differences in heights become so much more poignant. Altough we found out some parts of the route where a bit muddy, a bit of rain didn't stop us. Being immersed in the story all day, we did forget to take a picture though..
